Spring Market
The Spring Market is Asheville’s own four-day extravaganza, where premier shopping, children’s events, a 5K race and a great party, all raise money to build a better community. Spring Market, the first celebration of spring, opened Thursday, March 25 with a Spring Soiree, followed by shopping days March 26 through 28. Special events included the Spring Into Action 5K and the Bunny Brunch. Spring Market encourages Asheville to burst into spring with fashion, fitness and fun.
Spring Soiree
Thank you to all who joined us on Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm for the opening party of the Spring Market! The ticket price included food, drinks, a silent auction, exclusive shopping, and live music by Whitewater Bluegrass Company!
Spring Into Action 5K
The 2010 Spring into Action 5K was a 3.1 mile run through beautiful Biltmore Park® Town Square and the surrounding community on March 27, 2010. Funds raised went to support the all the important aspects of the mission of the Junior League of Asheville, NC. This year our community partners were: Girls on the Run and MANNA FoodBank. Thank you to all our runners and especially those who brought food donations to the race for MANNA FoodBank.

Bunny Brunch
Fun was had by all who joined the Easter Bunny and his friends for the Bunny Brunch, presented by Tupelo Honey Café on March 27, 2010 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Tickets included food, drinks, a photo with the Easter Bunny, games, prizes and more! Tickets were $15.
